eastbound and down

A few months ago I bought a book that listed some hard to find waterfalls in Pennsylvania and since I saw that there was one just 45 minutes away I figured I would take the the camera and g/f out for a nice hike to a waterfall.

So we drove east on I-84 to the DWG and found our trail. The Water Gap is known for its many waterfalls but unlike most of the other falls this had no signage and could not be found on a map.

The falls ended up being a bummer but along the trail I did snap this one.
About halfway into the hike we came across this cool row of trees. Next week is going to be nice so I plan on going back, taking my time and really get a quality image.

call me irresponsible

Spring is here then summer followed by fall and I am looking forward to it. Spring and fall bring great weather for landscape images and summer...Well, summer is great!

I haven't figured out where I will go on vacation to yet, I guess it depends on how I am looking for next fall tuition. I hope to go back to Maine but that might be a bit costly if gas goes up. If not I'm not sure. Maybe spend 2-3 days in NYC? Go back to upstate with a much more streamlined waterfall tour? I guess we shall see.

The great thing about summer is I only have to worry about work. Even though college sucks, it does bring a clear mind when you only have to worry about work. No problem!

Last week I went up to the Catskills to revisit a waterfall that I checked out for the first time last summer. I figured I would take a quick jump up there again to see how the ice was melting and get some angles for some this summer and fall. While I was there I grabbed just a quick few pictures for the blog. The trail was still icy in parts and I even fell in my ass once.

polite musings

Well, I decided I would start another blog again and I hope this one will keep me entertained then the last as I got very bored with that one. For now it will just be a place that I share my pictures and thoughts and maybe the next time people want to see what I have been up to then check just check this page out, the less human interaction the better.

Keep in mind that I am trying to educate myself about blogging properly and that this site my go through a lot of changes as time goes by. I hope that I can learn at a fast pace but along with school requirements to learn Adobe InDesign, classwork, homework, work and let us not forget the guild it might be hard to soak in some Blogger knowledge.

So for now, enjoy, ignore, or even make fun of my blog. I now copyright my images but if you want to use any for any reason just ask and it wont be a issue. Most of what I will post on here will be mostly snap shot quality crap, after all this is just a blog and not a exhibit. :-)

I cant stress enough how great it is to hear feedback, so please if you have any then do it up and comment!
